This company is coming to our school and taking some of us interviewees out for dinner. Should I wear a polo shirt (short sleeve of course) or a button down dress shirt? And should it be khaki pants or I also have some grey nice/casual pants. And I have nice black shoes and some of those brown slip on shoes (look like the ones frat guys always where). thanks.

It can depend on the company. I have interviewed and recruited for my company and this is how I would play it:

Button Down Shirt
Black/Grey Dress Pants
Black Shoes
Wear the Jacket but this is at your discretion
No Tie.

Kind of depends on the company but I would say Button down dress shirt but no jacket. I would go with grey pants, not khakis. Do the nice black shoes.

I second Miro's recommendation. You're gonna look like you have been in the business world always. Impressive.
