Because Pisces is considered a very emotional sign and Geminis are not known to show much emotion. Pisces cannot understand it sometimes when Geminis just change their emotions at the drop of a hat (and Pisces take a lot of things personally).
They are just very different signs emotionally.

my thoughts exactly...Pisces DONT get along with gemini's..I'm a Pisces and i've noticed this too...I can spot a Gemini a mile away and i avoid them like the Plague (No offence Gemini but we just have that personality clash)...Pisces find the Gemini's behaviour very intrusive. Pisces are known for their sensitive side where as gemini's appear the opposite..Pisces likes to be secretive and gemini's like to share them!...the gemini's i've encountered are loud, gossipy, jealous and ask far too many questions! (I'm sure they won't appear that way to other signs)

There's more to astrology then "sun signs" you can't 4get about the rising sign and all of the planets. But anyways what I'm trying to say is that it varies from person to person, I get along with all gemini's and they guy who like adores me is a gemini; of course the guy I like is a capricorn but anyways enough about me back to ur question
Gemini is loud, hyperactive, and super moody
Pisces is shy but friendly, Goes with the flow and keeps emotions to themselves.
See the differance in basic temperments, they are bound to fight and argue; but the ironic thing is that Pises is emotional Gemini is itellectual, Pisces is sweet, Gemini is energetic, gemini is explosive with emotions, pisces just pushes it all back into there sub-concious but after that, these 2 signs ARE A LOT alike!!!!

well speaking from experience me being a pisces i personally can't stand two faced people and the gemini's i have met are just that. I would rather someone be upfront and honest with me then give me the run around. Secondly, its ok to be playful but there is a time and place for everything. My step-father thinks its absolutely hilarious to fart and put boogers on me and my siblings, which is retarded to me. It racks my brother's(virgo) nerves when my aunt(gemini) is so damn noisy and overbearing. He almost cursed her out.

i can sympathize with you on this one. i used to go out with a Gemini and i am a Pisces. Gemini's are two faced anyway. there will always be a 2 sided version/personality with Gemini's. there temperament is good at times, for they are nice people, but when they are crossed, they are a total different person. i was with her for at least 4years and it was a little bit rough. nice though, but rough.

I'm a Gemini and I know alot of Pisces, that I get along with. Alot of that horoscope stuff, is all in your head, you either get along with someone or you don't, regardless of their zodiac sign.

Right away, the Pisces woman will just know that there's more to this guy than meets the eye - certainly more than he's willing to expose about himself. But is she the woman who can help unlock his emotions for him? He needs her help. And so does she need his help with all those practical, mundane matters that he's so good at. This could be a very nice arrangement.
