What to wear to party?

i'm going to my first boy girl dancing party. i'm 13 and a girl. i'm thinking of wearing jeans a average shirt and some dangle earings for the first time. does the outfit sound ok and what type of shoes are best for dancing. i'm also not really sure how i'm supposed to dance. i need your help and fast. only 2 and a half hours.

This is your first dance! I think you should wear something a little dressier. You want everyone to see you kinda different. Not like they see you everyday. Jeans are ok if the top is dressy or frilly and definately wear the dangle earrings. Have a good time. Comin from someone older - you are making memories you will never forget. YOu will even remember what you wore. SO make it count.!

Oh I love parties! Wear a nice top. (not T-Shirt) With a light or dark jean mini. NO LEGGINGS!!!!!!!! BE ORGINAL! Preferably a Chick by Nicky Hilton skirt. Those are the best. If you don't have that much money then Paris Blues shall do. (I love Paris and Nicky Hilton's style! And them!) If you wear a kind of rocker shirt then you might want to go with black converse high-tops. Those will appeal to the boys! Good luck and have soooo much fun! Don't stay with friends the whole time! Go with what you are comfortable with. My son is going to one tonight too and he is wearing jeans and a nice shirt and some comfortable shoes. As far as dancing, just get out there and do not worry. Have some fun!!

Baby I"m an expert on these things. just wear some jeans and a tight top wear the biggest earrings you have, and put on some make up. If your white or spanish put on alot of mascara if non use eye shadow I Hope you have fun :) YOU DONT HAVE TO DANCE JUST LOOK CUTE (make your booty shake a little).

What you've suggested sounds good. Nothing too fussy, but something comfortable you can move in. On your feet wear some glittery slacks, nothing with a high heel if you're going to dance. Have fun!

The outfit sounds fine. But, wear lots of accessories so it won't look too plain. Also, wear falts, no heals or platforms or you'll get tired of dancing. Hope this helps.

just wear something comftairble. Maybe just wear sneakers or small heels. Dancing isnt really a big problem. alot of people are going to be dancing and no one will even notice if you can t dance (even though its not really possable not to know how to dance) so just be urself and have fun :-D

wear tight jeans and pull em up till just before your knees and wear flat shoes (pumps) and wear dangly earings and if u have a matching colour belt - than that too - and on top wear something like a tight sleeveless top OR a string vest (tight one)
