Yes I do. If you clean it out after each load, it tends to dry your next load better. The longer you leave your lint in, the longer it will take to dry the next load.
Also leaving the lint in with out cleaning it out will cause it to build up and may cause a fire from over heating. Your drier needs all the flowing air it can get.
Don't forget to clean out your drier hose from time to time as well. Make sure the lint is cleaned out of the back too while you have the hose off.

have to, dryer lint can be flammable under heavy build up, the dryer needs to breate, same thing when you cover up the breathing holes on a hair dryer, heat starts building up til you let go of the breathinh holes, its best to remove the lint in a dryer rather then lose your house from the fire in the dryer

Yes. But my husband doesn't and it's annoying as hell. (I used to work at a fire dept. so I know how important it is to do this - also, the dryer vent needs to be cleaned out every so often as well.)

p.s. Remember to have your chimneys cleaned before using them this fall/winter!

More like every other load, depending on the size
of the load, it's very important to do that cause I've
heard if you don't it could cause a fire.

Yep. If you don't the next load will take longer to dry - who wants to prolong their laundry?

Yep, that seems the most efficient thing to do. Otherwise it doesn't dry as well or as fast.
