My B/F .........just about "former" b/f...says he's SORRY after we
have a fight. Then I ask him what he is sorry about ??...he just says..."I don't know, for whatever happened ?"...Like he has NO
freakin clue...in the first place!! So,...WHY bother even saying he's sorry...if he doesn't MEAN IT ??? What is that about ???

Women are a mystery to him. He doesn't have a clue, but he realizes you are angry.
If you are angry you won't give him food or sex.
If he says he is sorry, maybe you will stop being angry and give him food and sex again.

If he was truly honest, and you actually let him say his mind without interuption, he'd probably say, "Damn, sometimes you are a complete b*$%ch! Why do you have to make such a big deal of trivial matters in life? Why does everything have to have so much emotional significance? Don't you know that life isn't perfect, I'm not perfect, and ... great mystery of them all ... you aren't perfect either? Why can't you just learn to lighten up and look to the good rather than scrutinizing everything to death. That kinda crap drives me nuts!!!
Or he could just take the short cut to the end of it all and say, "Im sorry (sorry that I have no clue how to deal with this part of our relationship)."

He likely doesn't know because you are being an emotional wreck and not using logic. Had you been more clear with him he would know what was "wrong." However, had you been more logical and less emotional then there wouldn't be anything wrong in the first place.

guys aren't as sensitive as us.. they don't think hard enough to know what went wrong, they try to take the easy way out of any problem , they think "allright, she's upset, she wants to blame me, then sayin sorry will make her let me off the hook" Simple huh?..
