I think it's fine to take baths all the way up to delivery. Some women give birth in tubs so there can't be anything wrong w/ taking a bath in your 3rd trimester.
One concern is how clean your bath water is and fear of bacteria entering your uterus. Another is the heat that could affect your fetus.
There are precautions you can take:
-don't add any unnecessary soaps and fragrance salts into your bath water
-make sure bathwater is not too hot
-don't stay in the bath too long
If you follow these precautions and take baths sporadically (showers more often), then you'll be fine. If you're still not convinced ask your doc. Happy soaking!

Unless your cervix is dialated (unlikly until the last month) then it is okay. There is little chance that any water would enter your vagina because there is nothing forceing it into you. Therefore, it is a very low risk of any infection that you may be worried about.
The water temperature should not be too hot because that may harm the baby, but if you keep it moderatly warm then you should be just fine. The same goes for showers.
If you are really unsure, then ask your doctor. But for now, I think you will be just fine, so enjoy a bath!

There are pros and cons for both. If you have a bath, it isn't supposed to be hot because that will not be good for baby (so they say) but that's all I had was hot baths and my baby was fine. The shower thing(I thought) was iffy because I was always afraid of slipping and falling in there. You'r clumsy and off balance so chances are you higher that you fall than normal.

nope. You are fine. My midwife (who frankly was a fruit loop if you ask me!) Gave me a book where they say it's fine as long as
1. you keep the temp 100 or less
2. you are very careful to not slip and fall...you might want help in and out
3. you water has NOT broken.
If your water has broken though, you should be at the hospital, not in the bath anyway!! LOL!!! Just be careful not to make the water too hot or to fall. That's the biggest issue....

Mostly they advise that so you don't slip and hurt yourself trying to get in and out, but if you can move around just fine and get yourself out of the tub okay, then enjoy your bath!
Throughout pregnancy you should avoid overheating, so just make sure the water's not hot-tub temps.

You can continue to take tub baths unless your doctor advises otherwise. Soaking in hot water can help accelerate labor and is used in birthing centers.

doctors used to think (like years ago) that bathing while pregnant could lead to you getting bacteria in a certain place....it's now recognized that it's not likely the case, water doesn't usually get there, so it's fine.

I took baths every night with mine and was just fine. Just make sure the water is only lukewarm. Check with your ob, though.

you do not want to bathe in very hot water. Think of it as your baby is in a sac of water and you don't want to boil your baby.
