Turning your for to prepaid would depend on the server you use and if your phone has a sims card in it

I know you can switch it the other way so I would guess you can. Ask them about it though athttp://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/contact/index.jsp . I ask them questions all the time and it takes less than 24 hours for them to respond. o and I have Verizon PrePay and I like it!
