Okay, my rabbit used to do this. If the fur she pulls out is all placed in a neat little pile and she sleeps on it, then this is natural nesting behaviour. Rabbits do not have to be pregnant to do this,
Spaying may be an option but before this inspect her skin beneath the fur to make sure there is not a skin problem. If she is happy and eating it is unlikely to be serious. Spaying should stop this. See how she goes over the next week or so.

Female rabbits pull fur from their chest to build a nest, not their sides. It sounds like she's stressed, although it could be mites. Have the vet check her out to be on the safe side.
Make sure she has somewhere she can hide away when she doesn't want attention. Don't leave her in an open cage all day. And teach your don that she's not a toy.
She may need another rabbit for company, so get the vet to sex her.

Females pull out their fur to make a nest when they're in season. My rabbit also moults twice a year and can get a bit scruffy while the old coat is coming out. She shouldn't be bald though, best to get the vet to check her skin, she might need a bath.

She may have a false pregnancy. Rabbits pull out their fur to nest if they are pregnant and its not uncommon for them to do this if they have a false pregnancy. I would take her to vets to be sure though.

She is stressed out and needs to see a vet, spend more time with her and make her feel loved and see a vet. Guess that means you'll have to give Yahoo! Answers a rest.

Seems she is building a nest, if you haven't a buck she is having a false pregnacy.
Give her some clean hay.

We had a rabbit who did this when she was stressed. We only had her 2 years, she died of a brain aneurysm. :(
