Is it Pampers? I know Pampers has an expiration date, but I think it has something to do with whatever they put in them to give them that "baby" smell. You know, like a powder or something.

You didn't mention what brand, if it is pampers, they have an expiration date on the inside of the pack on a little sticker. It is not for the diapers. It is for the pampers points code found on the same sticker. you can go to pampers.com and enter the codes for points to buy things.

after that date, they no longer uphold any guarantees printed on them, and also if they have anything added (powder etc.) mostly for the guarantees they give, keeps them from having to replace packages if they leak after that date
