I was also pregnant at 16. I'm not saying this is the case for you, everyones situation is different. But I am giving you the opinion that I feel is best. My daughter is now 18 years old. so I've got a little experience! I would honestly wait. Even though you are going to be a mommy yourself, you still have alot of YOU to find, and alot of growing up to still do. My daughter and I are best friends as well as mother and daughter, partly because I was a baby having and raising a baby. I don't think we would have had such a tight relationship if I had married, I was still focusing on me, my education (please get that no matter what. It is important)! being a mother, and learning lifes lessons. If I had a husband to worry about to, that would have taken away alot or mmost of the focus I was able to have for us.Now again, everyone is different but, her father is proof that boys mature ALOT slower than girls. First he hit 18, and things got bad (I thought), he ran the streets, hang out with his friends instead of staying home and helping with our baby. He felt that he could go on with 'life as usuall' THEN he hit 21, and was able to get into the clubs, buy beer, etc. It was absolute hell. Excuse the expression. But, he was a child as well and couldn't commit to growing up and being a father at such a young age. I hope the father of your baby is a good man, and I Pray that you guys will be together one day, and married, raising your child/children (if that is what you want) . But take your time right now. Enjoy your pregnancy, focus on being a mother, dream and make future plans, and remember to still enjoy your youth, you are still young one way or the other. Nothing, even pregnancy can change that. So enjoy it, and the new little one. I wish you all the best love, luck, and happiness that you can find. And please feel free to get in touch with me. I would love to hear from you.

First of all 16 is way.............to young. No you don't have to get married but this person should have taken in the consideration of possibly getting pregnant. They have birth control and condoms out there. And if thinking having a baby will bring you closer, that doesn't always happen.

"Bady"? You mean baby right? Well.....not techinally married. You should just stay together until the right time and age to get married or sure why not?! Just married since you had a baby together.

First of all you should be sleeping with anybody until you are married. And yes you should get married. The baby needs a father. Its your fault you got pregnant in the first place.
