feng shui is very "hot" right now in terms of finding the right placement/space for things to imrprove the overall feel of our living spaces. A lot of gardens are being designed with that in mind (for example).
lucid dreaming isn't likely to hit as many people since there are a lot who don't even remember dreaming let alone interacting with their dreams. Bear in mind that dream interpretation/interaction is highly subjective where as the principles of Feng Shui are a little more concrete (something your audience can grab on to)

I'd prefer lucid dreaming. How can that topic NOT be interesting? Fung shui is taking inanimate objects and giving them meaning. Not many people are going to really get that.

I would go with feng shui, because that's easier to demonstrate with something catching to the eye than lucid dreaming is -- the latter's more suitable to a speech, but with feng shui you have the benefit of a "live" demonstration with your speech. Tricky to do with a dream.

It depends on the audience. If they are asian interior decorators, fung shui would be appropriate. If they are future psychiatrists, lucid dreaming may be more appropriate. If they are Oakland Raider fans, God help you.

Lucid dreaming...People are draw to weird topics things that they don't usually listen everyday, that they can connect to. Feng shui is a good topic too but usually (unless you are asian or a decorator) is likely to be boring...That is up to you and the audience.... Good Luck
