Last night both me and my girlfriend were engaged in some rough sex. she was on top. after about 5 minutes we took a break and she was just sitting on top of me while i was still in her. we started to engage again and all of a sudden i think i heard a pop and a clear liquid poured out on me and the bed. there was some blood on me and her but not alot at all. She said it hurt her very bad and she couldnt move for a few moments. she put a tampon in and took it out 10 minutes later and there was nothing there. What could of happen...after about 20 minutes we engaged in sex again but not as rough. Please help im very scared.

sounds like her hymen broke but there shouldn't be a "pop" sound and there shouldn't have been a clear liquid. Was she a virgin, were you two using a condom, not enough info, take her to the Dr. to make sure everything is ok but it is probably not that serious if you were able to have sex again 20 mins later, just please be careful. Good Luck to both of you

Was she a virgin! - although that should be only blood. One time this happened to me and I was not even having sex. I went running to the doctor and was told that some a type of blood clot had formed in there. I don't have a period any more-so I see how you feel. Your girlfriend is not pregnant is she? Try to calm down and take her to the doctor just to be safe as soon as you can and talk to the doctor about this. You are so nice to care! Some people wouldn't. THANK YOU for caring for her this way! It helps to restore my faith in others. Hope you will be less worried now!!!

Well actually, that's not all that uncommon. It's called a Bartholyn's Cyst. The gland gets plugged and forms a cyst. You're just lucky it popped. If it hadn't she could have developed a very serious infection (and it's not comfortable!). All she has to do now is just keep herself clean and rinse the area very well every time she bathes.

Sounds serious but I guess not too bad if you were able to do it again. Never heard of anything like this. Good luck. I'll be watching.

Sounds like the condom broke...and might have snapped against her skin. It'll heal. Just hope you're not being called mommy and daddy in 9 months.

I think the best thing you can do is go to the doctor with her, and figure this out.

is this the first time your g/f had vaginal sex. if so, it could be the result of breaking through her hymen. (popping her cherry)
