Well, it may to you...but that really is not now a issue, or choice.
I will tell you that your life in another 20 weeks will be filled with
a sweet baby.
That MUST be number 1...now
o.k.
And its what you make of it....do not listen to any negative feedback on this site....
Your life for a while now, is already set ......and you need to be the best mother, for this little angel thats coming o.k.
PLEASE focus on this little baby, and take good care....
I do hope your parents are kind to you, but if not...when baby comes I am sure they will be.MAKE SURE! YOU HAVE NO MORE BABIES...FOR SOME TIME....Just to keep things stable o.k...all the best...and concentrate on baby, and you..and it will be o.k.

I was only 17 when I had my first kid. At the time, I thought my life was over until my baby was born and I never loved anything more.... Which gave me motivation to move on to graduate high school (on time) and then move on to college. I HAD to show everyone and make them see that I hadn't wrecked my life because I knew that's what they were all thinking. That was nearly 10 years ago now and I now work at a police station and I'm the only one in my family that graduated at all. Cheer up! things will get better... you will see! Just because you got pregnant doesn't mean you're a bad person, it just means that you had sex. Remember that! That is the best answer I could've had to nosy people. Also, one more thing. LOTION!!! and drink LOTS of water... this will help to prevent stretch marks. I wish someone would have warned me.

well not really! It could be worse! Like your parents kicking you out and your boyfriend leaving you! Stay with your parents and do what you need to do! Eventhough your a mom now your still a minor. Legally your parents do have a say in what you should do! Now they are responsible for you and this baby! So think in the best for this baby now. What happens when you become a mother is that you have to think about your baby instead of just yourself! At 17 we tend to be a bit selfish thats why alot of adults don't like it when teens have kids. There are really good parents out here that started young and they got through it! So just take it one day at a time!

No, your life doesn't suck, your decisions do. No, you do not need to get married. . . you'll only get divorced. Your b/f needs to be legally obligated to pay child support if you are keeping the baby. I would suggest adoption where the adoptive parents pick up the medical bills and expenses and you get back to life and school once the baby is born. Graduate, and make yourself a life WITHOUT sex until such time as you are old enough and mature enough to develop a strong marriage relationship. You can make for yourself a life, but you need to have some strong mentors to help you and you need to keep your panties on.

no ur life doesnt suck. YOu can make the best of it. You made a mistake and that sucks. So now be the best mom u can be and finish school, take care of ur child when he or she is born. Dont act like u have no responsibilities and dont be going out all the time and leaving ur child with ur parents (all the time ) ur still young and yes ur gonna wanna go out but ur responsibility will always have to come first. Good luck and I hope the father of your child is responsible as well.

Well that kind of depends on which state you live in. I'm thinking that he wants to get married because in the state you live in he could be arrested for statutory rape if you weren't married. So he is trying to cover his butt. He is an adult and you are still considered a minor. I think that if your parents are smart they'd look into having him arrested, then filing for child support from him...I'm thinking his life sucks. You were just niave enough to get caught up in it.

Absolutely not!! My daughter is 17 and has a 11 week old. Of course I would've hoped she would have been older and married but there is a reason for everything. He is such a blessing and we love both of them dearly. And by the way they do live with us.

No your life doesn't suck, I know its hard and scary right now but at least he wants to be with you and the baby. Don't marry him just because your pregnant that will solve nothing. If you truly love him and want to marry him then go for it.
God Bless and good luck.

does your life suck? i don't know, does it?

no one can answer that for you. You made choices and now it's your life.

i was 22 in your situation and now i'm 30 and my life in no ways sucks.

my cousin had her son when she was 15 and now she's 32 and her life is amazingly good.

just do what you need to do. you are going to be a mommy. so be the best mommy ever. and don't worry about age...it's just a number.
