You can also go to a hotel that isn't a main one and watch a drag queen show. They are usually cheaper and include a buffet (you will find advertisements for them all over Vegas and probably in your hotel room). We went to one and laughed up a storm! Plus, there might be a featured artist there during the time you are there. We happened across Carrot Top and popped in on that show at the last minute. Finally, I have also seen the show at Excalibur - it is set in the time of the knights and you get a meal with it and you eat like they did (with your hands). That was fun...

Not exactly what you are looking for the answer to, but just some advice for you:
I found in Vegas, if you are interested in a show, sometimes you can get the best deal on tickets about 15-30 minutes before the show starts if it is not sold out before that point. I went and there was a major act playing and all the tickets left were 400 dollar range, we tried to go there and see what was still left a half hour before the show and we got in for 25 dollars and got to sit in the 400 seats. :)
Never know, but it is worth the try if there is a show you want to see and the price is outrageous

It really depends on your taste, but in addition to the evening shows, there are *very* inexpensive and entertaining afternoon shows (usually magic/comedy shows). For example the Mac King comedy-magic show.
Avoid Mama Mia. I just saw that. I love musicals and go to them in London and Los Angeles whenever I can, so I know what I'm talking about when I say that the Vegas rendition of this musical truly sucks. In addition to bad casting and singing, the music director has the volume of the speakers set so loud that it is pure agony to be in the theater. If I wasn't with a group of people that I didn't want to embarrass by walking out, I would have left the theater within the first 5 minutes.

Lots of good advice on here... The problem there are Sooooooo Many shows to choose from. I certainly enjoyed Danny Gans; one of the best shows i've ever seen. I agree with the consenses about the Cirque du Soleil shows... It is certainly like nothing you see day to day. I was not all that thrilled with Zumanity, but that is personal preference. If you want to watch the traditional Feathers, Sequins, and Sillicone" shows... think twice. Its about $75 and you've probably seen something similar on TV or a movie for 5 minutes and not much has changed with these shows in the last 70 years... to me, it was boring. Blue Man Group - Outstanding Performance Art, but don't expect a plot...just a lot of overwhelming stimuli for the senses... Ya see... too many choices. :) Have a great trip!!!

All of the Cirque du Soleil shows are spectacular. The latest is LOVE at the Mirage... set to Beatles music... fun fun stuff. Le Reve at Wynn is also fabulous. Mystere at the Treasure Island is probably the best 'value' for the ticket price (of the 'big' shows).
Make sure you get your tickets directly from the hotel box office... there are lots of brokers who charge ridiculous mark-ups above face value. Have fun and play safe.

All the Cirque de Soleil shows, Le Reve, Mama Mia are terrific. There are just so many shows.
Generally, don't wait til the last minute to go to a show, especially the one's mentioned above. They will be sold out, so book early.

look around when you get there a lot of times people will show up and do shows kinda out of the blue and you won't see an ad for it until just a few days before.

www.vegas.com should be able to tell you what shows are available. If you can, take advantage of some of the "freebies", they're actually a lot of fun
