Torre is an overpaid fraud. When the Yankees win, Torre gets the credit. When the Yankees lose, we're told, "It's not Torre's fault...the players didn't produce." With a $200 million payroll, Torre should win the World Series every year. Take a look at his managerial record with the Braves, Mets and Cardinals....he was UNDER .500. He gets a $200 million payroll and miraculously becomes the best manager on the planet?

How many AL East Titles has Torre won? If he does get fired, there will be teams knocking on his door the instant the news is made public. Torre is an excellent manager, he just needs a team (not a bunch of overpaid babies) to work with.
