What do Americans like about Britain?

I'm doing some research for a project at Uni where I need to look into what attracts people who live in America to Britain, or their perceptions of the British. Any comment is greatfully recieved.

North America and Britain share a common history, and above all else, people tend to love their relatives, and their commonalities.

I think one aspect is the rich history of the monarchy, filled with life dramas, love, hate, war.
