Yesterday around 4 o'clock I had a really strong contraction that hurt, it happend a few more times but not timable and not bad, last night all night my stomach was tightening but nothing serious or strong, and still today. Should I contact a doc, or am I just having a bad case of braxton hicks contractions? I have a lot of discharge mostly watery but not my water breaking? could these contractions be dialating me? Should I be worried, husband wants me to go into er but I dont feel like I need to.

It is normal tohave these contractions but if you are in pain you need to be checked.Don't play around contemplating whether you should go to the er, you do not want to go into labor now your baby has a 50/50 chance,i'm not trying to scare you but if you are dilating at all you will have to get on iv drugs immediatly,if you wait too long by the time you decide to go in they may not be able to stop it and that is a dangerous situation.Atleast go get checked for peace of mind

If they are not coming on a timeable count of ten minutes apart or less, don't worry, they're braxton-hicks contractions. If they don't stop and are timeable, ten minutes apart or less, call your doc's office. Most OB/GYN's have an emergency line and most midwives are "on call" for you at this point. They will tell you more about the necessity of going to the er.

braxton hicks contractions, nothing to worry about unless they are consistant.
Do you feel ready to have the baby? When you feel ready it's time to go!
Do you really want to spend the time at the ER for a false alarm?

I have had 3 premature babies and I think you should go to the doctor immediately.Sounds like your water is leaking and your are having contractions. Most contractions start irregular and get more regular.Better to be safe than sorry.Listen to your husband.

I had my son at 29 weeks. my water broke at 26 weeks. if you have watery discharge, that could be a sign of your water bag. i didn't even no mine broke i thought it was discharge. go to the hospital and they will check you. even if it turns out nothing you need to still go.Its better to no now best wishes, every thing will be ok.
