699 years ago in 1307, King Phillip the Fair and Pope Clement V (Phillip's stooge) conspired to condem the Order of the Poor Knights of Christ and the Temple of Jerusalem because a.) phillip owed them beacoup bucks and he wanted to get his hands on the Templar's fabulous treasure. Phillip sent sealed orders to all his garrisons throughout France ordering that they not be opened until October 12th. The orders were to arrest all the Templars on the following day, FRIDAY THE 13TH OF OCTOBER. This was done, and the Templars were tortured by the French and the representatives of the corrupt Pope. They didn't get the treasure because the Templars remained silent, even though many of them died while being roasted over slow fires, including the Grand Master of the Order, Jacques De Molay. The Templar Fleet set sale fron France in 18 galleys that carried the treasure away from France to Ireland and then to the West coast of Scotland. Half the fleet then departed for points unknown but it's a safe bet that many of them came here, or at least to the Carribbean Sea. You see, when they sailed away the gallys were flying the battle flag of the Knights Templar, A BLACK FLAG BEARING THE IMAGE OF A SKULL AND TWO CROSSED BONES.

Beware of Friday the Thirteenth. Those who know about these things, inform us that Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden on a Friday, Noah's flood started on a Friday, and Christ was crucified on a Friday. Christians also noted that twelve witches plus one devil are present at Satanic ceremonies so Friday and 13 make a deadly combination

The Templar explanation makes sense.

I thought it was because 13 is a number sacred to the native pagan religions of Europe and the missionaries turned it into an 'unlucky' number to further demonize the followers of the old ways. 13 has many feminine attributes. 13 moons in a year, 13 is the traditional number of witches in a coven. Friday is named for the goddess Freyja, to whom 13 was a sacred number. 13 used to be mad lucky and especially Friday 13th. It still is in France.
