I need help on trying not to be afraid of it, because my side bases are always not the same height and it makes me feel like I'm going to fall.

The best thing that you can do to help them is stay tight from legs, abs up to the arms, being loose makes you like 10 lbs heavier. If they are different heights, they need to adjust to one another. One can stand legs wider (to make shorter) and the other can stand legs closer together (to make taller) basically its trial and error. Also when they lift you make sure that you and them are keeping your legs close together but not too close (shoulder width apart is the best) because if your legs are wider then its easier to fall, if they are closer then it will be considered a Qupie. Keep stressing that when the bases lift you that it is thier job to catch you if you fall. NEVER let a fellow cheerleader to fall to the ground.
