20 MINUTES. Pour the goop into the molds and, using the tongs, insert them into the oven and start watching the nearest clock. And that means watching that clock, because if the molds are cooked too long, you were scraping them out for days; if they aren't in there long enough, you're faced with a semi-shapeless sticky mass of who-knows-what. But if you have a good sense of timing and bake-sensibility, if you obediently removed the molds and give them a little hydrotherapy respite in the cooling pan like the directions tell you to, then a perfectly rubbery model is yours (along with the title of "Master Crawler-Maker."

# BEFORE USING THE CREEPY CRAWLERS® BUG MAKER - PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING “OVEN INSPECTION CHECK LIST”:

* Always use with an Adult.
* Always place the Creepy Crawlers Oven on a level dry surface before use.
* Do not plug the oven into a socket using multiple adapters.
* Always ask an adult to plug the oven into the wall outlet.
* Slide the On/Off switch to the “OFF” position.
* Lift the oven safety door upwards.
* Check and make sure the oven is EMPTY.
* Release the safety door. It should swing freely and drop against the oven body automatically.
* If the safety door is not completely closed, push the door against the oven until you hear a click. This means that the safety door is completely closed.
* When the switch is in the “ON” position, and the oven is in use, it will not be possible to life the safety door until the oven has cooled down.
* After you have followed the above “OVEN INSPECTION CHECK LIST” make sure that the “ON/OFF” switch is in the “OFF” position.

WHEN THE ABOVECHECKLIST HAS BEEN REVIEWED AND FOLLOWED AND YOU ARE READY TO USE, PLEASE READ THE LIST BELOW:

* Always use with an Adult.
* SHOCK HAZARD: Turn off power and remove plug before changing lamp or cleaning oven, and when not in use.
* Do not use another lamp type other than a 60W 120V Small Base Candelabra lamp.
* To prevent electric shock, do not immerse this toy in winter.
* Do not preheat oven.
* Molding oven can become hot during use. Do not touch.
* To clean, remove plug and when cool, wipe oven clean with a damp cloth.
* Do not attempt to remove mold until the arrow appears at the TOP of the temperature gauge. This indicates that the oven has cooled down.
* Always use mold holder to remove mold and place in cooling try.
* Do not touch mold or Official Plasti-Goop® Compound when first removed from oven.
* Do not allow mold to stay in oven unattended.
* Do not leave Mold Holder in oven.
* Do not allow the Creepy Crawlers oven to stay on for more than 20 minutes.
* Do not use this product for baking, cooking, or heating any item except those included with this product or any other Creepy Crawlers® Workshop Ovens.
* Safety door opens only when oven is completely cool!
* Do not attempt to force the door open before the oven has cooled (arrow appears at TOP of temperature gauge). Forcing the door open will cause damage to the oven. The door was designed for your safety and prevents you from touching the mold before it has cooled.
* Do not heat molds in any oven other than any of your Creepy Crawlers Oven (including microwave, conventional or convection).

# How do we open the bottles of goop?

Answer - First shake the bottle thoroughly. Then pierce the tops of goop bottles.

# We plugged in the Creepy Crawlers Oven and it is not heating up.

Suggestion - The Creepy Crawlers Oven requires a 60 watt small base candelabra light bulb. The light bulb is installed in the bottom of the oven with a Philips screwdriver.

# How long do we keep the molds in the oven?

Answer - Keep the mold in the oven for 13-14 minutes. Then slide the ON/OFF switch to OFF and allow to cool before removing. Do not try to remove while the ON/OFF switch is in the ON position.

# The mold has been in the oven for 15 minutes and we cannot get the door open.

Suggestion - Slide the ON/OFF switch over to OFF and allow mold to cool. There is a safety feature that will lock the door in the closed positioning until it is completely cooled. Forcing the door open may result in damaging it. The cooling process takes 10-12 minutes.

# We cooked the mold for 15 minutes but when we took it out it was still partly liquid.

Suggestion - The goop is an oil-based substance and it needs to be shaken up really well before use. If it is not shaken, the oil will separate and you will be pouring oil into the mold. You will need to throw out what you have done and start over.

# Can we use our household oven to cook the molds?

Answer - No, we do not recommend using your household oven. The Creepy Crawlers Oven is powered by a light bulb and has built in safely features, which a household oven does not. The molds get extremely hot.

# What is the Fx detailing pen and do we need to use it?

Suggestion - The Fx detailing pen is for detailing fingers, antennas, arms and legs. It is a stronger substance than the regular goop. You do not need to use it but it helps prevent parts of mold from breaking off.
