someone very close to me ignored me so i asked about 5 times and they kept saying huh so i slapped them. they know how i am they know my personality. I almost feel like i was minipulated into slappin them lol cause they know me. I feel like they set me up.

Does it matter what anyone thinks? Would you do something different the next time this happened?
It doesn't matter if you were set up or if it was a joke or whatever.
You would still have the same reaction.
Look at it this way, the person that did it to you knows you well. How many people would ignore you five times? They were playing with you and they got the reaction they wanted.

You have no right to put your hands on another person. You could be charged with an assault. The other person would have the right to slap you back or worse because you made the first move. You have some nerve trying to blame it on the person you slapped. It sounds like you need anger management.

You can't be serious. Of course you are wrong for hitting another person. You set yourself up the minute you said "they know my personality" What does that mean? You are allowed to behave badly and inappropriately because you are "special". What a crock! No one is responsible for your behavior but you! You always have a choice. Not always a pristine or easy one but one YOU hold responsibility for just the same.

Are you saying you are prone to violence so that make it a question of right or wrong?
It's wrong to slap anyone for any reason. Sure, they may deserve it but "two wrongs do not make a right". We teach our children it is not okay to hit each other so why should it be okay for adults....
You should re-evaluate how close you are to somebody who would treat you in this shabby way.

Yes you were wrong in slapping no one should hit another person for any reason except for protection. It is a violation to ones body.

I think it was wrong for you to slap them just for ignoring you. I hate to be ignored too but I wouldn't put my hands on anyone for ignoring me.

yes, it is wrong to slap anybody unless you want slapped back.... he was ignoring you....the maximum you should have done back was ignore him.
you deserve his anger, and you should expect to be slapped back
