No sorry, and books are terribly expensive depending on the class. i reccomend waiting till the first day of class to get an idea of whether u really need the book or not. some teachers say you do but often times they teach straight from the book and you don't read it anyway. Also try to order online (much cheaper!)

This is from my personal experience here, but most of the time no. If you are going to a junior college, you might get lucky. At my university, tuition does not cover books, but at the local junior colleges when i took some summer classes they did supply us with books. I found that the best way to do things is to wait till the beginning of class to see if you can get away with not having one or by using a friends. Depending on the professor, you may be able to get away with not having a book for the first two or three classes. Schools make a killing on book sales and then they give you bottom dollar when buying them back. The cheapest way to go is to buy your books off of amazon.com. You can get them WAY cheaper then buying them at school or the local book store. Also, it is a good idea to start a library with books that go along with your major classes. When you graduate you may need them as a resource for examinations or for when you practice in your chosen field. Hope this helps.

Not usually. Tuition just covers the cost of attending classes. Books and materials generally cost extra, as does housing.

No. The tuition fees are going towards:

university fees
student body fees
facilities fees
university union fees
instructionally related activities fees
heath service fees
photo ID fee

Books are another fee you pay on top of the tuition fees.
