It's not the fact that you can't get out of the dream - actually, dreams only last a short time during our sleep - so essentially you just need rest. Try going to bed a little earlier each night and place an alarm clock that awakes you gently and comfortably in the morning. Depending on age you might be getting less sleep than you really need. Try going to bed one hour earlier etc. and see how it works out - On the other hand if you sleep more than 8 hours - I would suggest seeing a doctor.

Well, It's a very good idea to wake yourself up earily to go to school but "when to wake", this is the question. However, to be a source of help, the best way to wake ur self up is by "blinking your eyes" in the dream, I garuntee by personal experience 3/4 times it'll work ! It is useful in nightmares, ofcourse. Oversleeping is a normal occasion, we all oversleep, especially during school times and good waking ups !

Like everyone is saying, set your alarm clock to the time you wanna wake up and it can wake you up especially if the alarm is really loud!! That's how I did one time, trust me. If you like to dream, that's your own fault cause I won't.

well u can start trying to take over your dream, what called lucid dreams, but if u dont have time for that, u can use autosuggestion before u go to sleep just tell to yourself something like "if dream i have the power to wake up", reapt it a till u fall a sleep, good luck!

Get a loud, annoying alarm clock and set it to wake you up with plenty of time to get to school on time.

haha why don't u just set an alarm? or if u actually have control of your dreams, which is called a lucid dream, you are completely in control of what happens, yuo can just end the dream early. good luck.

Dreaming is good for you - it allows your mind to explore what it can't do in normal life
If it becomes a problem see your doctor
