What a good question. I almost wish you had Tiger Woods up there and what he did for the game of Golf. I'm not even a golfer, but he was responsible for introducing golf to an entirely new generation.........anyways, back to the question.
I would have to vote for Barry Sanders and his 11 straight 1000 yard seasons. With as physical as the sport of football is and to be able to maintain your health enough to accomplish that...is truly amazing!

I have to say Michael Jordan was the most valuable to his sport. In this era, major "stars" are more interested in entertaining the crowd by their antics and celebrations on the field rather than letting there skills do it. Jordan just played and amazed, just look at whats happened since hes retired. Ratings are down every year than when he was playing and besides what would the Bulls have accomplished if they never had M.J.? This guy played and won without having a major star center, unlike Kobe, Wade, etc. As far as the most amazing record, I have to go with Bill Russells 11 NBA titles. Why? Because on his way to those titles he did it in 13 seasons! 11 out of 13, NO ONE will come close to that again.

Wow that is alot of stats to sort through, but I will go with the 1 I think will never get broken. Joe Louis's 11 year heavyweight title run. Today big time fighters only fight once or twice a year at most, and I still do not think anyone will come close to that. Boll Russel's 11 titles will not be broken anytime soon either.
