It came up in a question on the Lottery gameshow just now. Anyone have an idea?

They say that they both share a common ancestor a dinosaur bones they found that are like the whale and hippo. They say the hippo was formed to what it is now because it stated to live on land rather than in the ocean as the whale's did. But they share the ultrasound noise in the water.

DNA analysis of both hippos and whales show they came from the same animal (a long, long time ago)
