You could be just experiencing a hormone fluctuation. Most likely, nothing is wrong. However, pregnancy tests can produce false results so just relax, don't worry about it and if in another week or two you don't have your period do another pregnancy test. Most likely, you are stressing yourself out with worry which is causing a late period.

some people have lower hcg levels than others and it may just not be showing up yet..it ,could be other things like endometrisois or an ectopic pregnancy so best go to an er or dr. if you go to an er most where i live anyway will give you a test and give you the results before you leave. my first pregnancy test was negitive that i took after i missed my period...my daughter is 3 now!! so sometimes they can be inacurate. if it an early pregnancy too the line is so faint it is really hard to see. good luck!

you might still be. Just not snough HCG hormone to show up on test? It requires (i believe) more than 20 HCG for positive result. It never detects HOW pregnant you are, just takes a bit more hormone than you think (that's why they recommend doing the test first thing in the morning at home, bc you have a stronger concentration of it)
Try it again. May be positive this time. If not, it could be an ectopic pregnancy (in the fallopian tube). You may be better off seeing your doctor.
Hope this helps!
Good luck!!

Well, unless you were taking your basal body temperature and ovulation prediction kits to determine when you ovulated, you may have ovulated very late and you could be getting ready to start. I had a couple of cycles where I ovulated 2 weeks late due to stress and travel so it's not that uncommon. The 2nd time it happened I was charting with my BBT and using ovulation prediction kits, so I knew that I ovulated late.
This cycle I got pregnant so if you are trying, I would suggest using the ovulation prediction kits and taking your basal body temperature. If you don't want to be pregnant, I hope that you aren't! If you want to be, I hope you are! :D Either way, Fertility Friend is a great resource if/when you want to be pregnant.

that's probable nevertheless too quickly. you in simple terms ignored a era so that you would possibly want to nevertheless get your era. yet wait you've had indicators for 2 weeks now?? those are definatly no longer being pregnant indicators. the sex had in simple terms occured per week previous. you regularly do not get those till your 6 weeks pregnant. it might want to correctly be paranoia from wondering you're pregnant. there is not any longer very many procedures to shrink to rubble a attempt. you pee on the stick. how confusing is that? yet in any case take it again in about 2 weeks in case you nevertheless do not get a era. ok wait.......you in simple terms suggested u get ur era round everywhere from the 15-seventeenth day. u took a being pregnant attempt on the sixteenth. so isn't there a risk u might want to nevertheless get ur era?? and honey i'm no longer telling ur body what to do. u requested a question and that i replied it. if u did not like it, that's too undesirable. do not throw a hissy in good structure at me.

This had happened to me. I took two different tests & they were negative. I waited a few more weeks & took it again, & it came up positive. I would recommend seeing your OBGYN and also maybe wait another week or two & take another home test. Best of luck to you! :)

See a doctor, particularly a gyno, in case there's something wrong.
Also, just so you know, pregnancy tests aren't always accurate, especially that early.

My girlfriend goes through this. She says it's from being on the pill. Being a guy and not a docter I wouldn't know very much. That is just what she says.
