Yes, it was a good one...'She was born in the wagon of a travellin show, Her mama had to dance for the money they'd throw...'
I like the way the story comes round in a circle.
Prefer 'I got you Babe' from Cher's oldies though.

I've heard Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves, but never Thevies.

Yes Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves is from 1971 and was her first hit as a solo artist. This track has been included in many of her albums.

yes its quite an old song. The kind that gets stuck in your head. It doesnt help that I really dont like Cher...at all!

Yeah... my mom used to have it on '45 vinyl record... It was like a nursery rhyme to me though...lol Still fond of it :-)
