Including BK, KFC, White Castle, pretty much every fast food, i mean me and my friends eat fast food and we're not fat, why blame it on some good fast food places? Like, you know, when those two fat girls made a big deal outa bein fat cuz they ate mcdonalds and then that guy made a movie and it was boring as hell and i heard on the radio that he insulted handicapped children at their own school, like waht a jerk and he ruined a queen song by throwing it in his stupid moive

But back to the question bout why ppl blame fast food instead of themselfs
Im just a lil confuzed on that one...

I don't think it's as stupid as blaming MacDonalds for having coffee that's too hot because a woman was so stupid as to put a hot cup of coffee between her legs while driving.

Well, no one force fed them this food so I don't' see where they get off suing. I mean, I'm fat, I'm not blaming anyone but me. True, they aggressively market towards kids which then leads to bad eating habits but on the other hand, personal responsibility seems to have become obsolete in this country. It's ridiculous. It would be nice if they had healthy options, or had them earlier because I know they offer salads and stuff now. If eating McDonald's food made you fat, then you blame the fact that you ate it and kept eating it, not the restaurant for making it. You don't see me blaming the shoe company for the fact that my feet hurt because I bought shoes that were too small, do you? NO! I bought them because I thought they were nice and I have to deal with the consequences.

I don't blame fast food places for today's obesity problem. McDonald's and other restaurants are simply there providing a service. Its customers are the ones to decide what they order off the menu. One can easily order a more "healthy" option such as a salad with low cal dressing and water, as opposed to a double quarter pounder with cheese, large fries, and a large regular coke.

I think maintaining a healthy lifestyle is what it's all about...eating mainly healthy foods, mixed with splurging on 'junkfood' in moderation, regular exercise, and being happy.

It's partly McD's falt but mostly the fat person's falt. In McD's food they put stuff that make you fat and make you want to eat more of their food. So thats why it's partly McD's falt. But that doesn't mean it's all of it's falt. The people who blame McD's don't have to go to there. It's The peopl's free choice. And you could go to McD's and still be skinny. You just have to not eat as much as the fat people do and you have to exercise so you won't become fat from eating the food. The fat people just don't want to admit that they eat a lot and blame McDonalds (even though they do put stuff to make you fat in the food) for them being that way. And they want more money to go to McDonalds to eat.

I think people just like to blame any things else but the real cost of the problem, like you ask why people balm fast food for them to turn fat, it themselves that buy the food not that they get it for free still they have a choice of buying so some things else to eat

It is a lot easier to blame somebody else than actually do something about your weight yourself. Once it is brought to our attention as being McDonalds fault, why and the hell would we take the blame, somebody already did that for us, they made a movie. The movie was informative, but come on, who actually eats McD's three times a day, seven days a week? Your asking for a heart attack!

Totally agree with you. Nobody makes people walk in these restaurants. Also, there are even salads on the menus now so all excuses are zeroed out...completely! It's called free will. Nobody is stuffing french fries down their throats. These people make choices and can choose to walk into the produce sections of grocery stores and get lettuce and cucumbers so they won't get fat. They can choose to stay out of any restaurant that tempts them. Do these kind of people ever take responsibility for anything?

Eating fast food once a week will not get you fat. It is the people who eat their everyday. I do not think it is the restaurant's fault. It is the people who eat there's fault. They were the ones who kept on eating there. If you do not want to get fat, eat fast food once a week or get healthy things like salads.

Someone has to take the cheeseburger out of these peoples' mouths. If they want to blame fast food, why are they still eating there and helping the chains make more money?
