Make sure your player is plugged into the PC via the USB cable. Make sure you know which Drive the MP3 Player is listed as - on my PC it's the 'F' Drive, for example.
In Windows Explorer highlight the tracks you want (you can do them singly or in a block).
Drag them over on top of the Drive and they'll copy into the MP3.

it depends on what mp3 player you have. seeing as you didn't say ipod, i'll assume you don't have one.
an mp3 player usually comes with software, but if there isn't any, here's what you do:
1. connect the mp3 player to your computer with the connector cable that should have come with it.
2. open up windows media player (assuming you have windows. if you have a mac, i can't help you)
3. if you haven't already, rip the music from the cds you want into the media player, or download the songs you want.
4. go into "library". to the right side, there should be a playlist section. hit the drop down button that says "now playing". hit "sync list" (which is the third selection down on my media player) using the lists on the left hand side, click and drag the music you want into that list.
5. when you're done with choosing the songs, hit "sync to device" ( at the bottom of the right hand sync list column)

With your mp3 player connected, OPEN the players files and delete any song you don't want. Then just go to the folder you store your mp3s in and Rightclick the song you want to add. Then click COPY. Then go back to the mp3 PLAYER folder and rightclick inside the folder and the click PASTE. This will add your song onto the player. And it doesn't matter what kind of software comes with the player, if any. This will work, even for ipods!

One particular fireplace thanks to attempt that is to create a music CD with the itunes music. Then replica the music off the CD into your MP3 gamers "jukebox" (homestead windows Media participant). Doing that's a soreness, even with the indisputable fact that it receives you around the replica suitable safe practices.
