I am 34 years old, divorced, and have 2 small children. I would love to meet a wonderfull man and have tried some online dating services but the men I talk to on these sites only seem to be looking for sex. I am trying to get out to places with my children, like sporting events, school functions, the library, the park, but the men I see at these places all are married. Any suggestions as to places to talk to "good" men?

You want to hop right back into the fire? You can't be happy with anyone else, unless you're happy with yourself. Live alone. Give yourself some time. Don't be in such a rush. And stop looking for love online, that's like buying a pig in a poke. If I were single, I'd NEVER hook-up with anyone I met online.
After all of this time with one man, you want to know if you've still 'got it'. Will other men still find you attractive & desirable. Yes, they will.
Focus on the problems at hand first. Your kids, your new life. Everything else will fall into place in short order. Believe me, guys WILL be knocking at your door.

I can understand the problem but I can only say that there are men out there that want a relationship and just not sex. I been in the process of divorce for now over two years and being in limbo doesn't help finding the right someone. I haven't mixed my dates with my time with my daughter because I feel that its not fair to her until I am sure of the relationship is going somewhere. I have join a support group that has functions like single dances that gives you a safer environment and gives you a change to meet like minded singles. Good luck

You have to be lucky to meet that right person as a lot of men and women don't want the responsibility of raising some one else children as well as a host of other reasons.
You are right about a lot of the on line sites the people there are only after sex etc...... It is not an easy road you are traveling and it will be a hard one for your kids as well to accept some one new in your life and in your bed. All you can do is your best and nothing more.

Don't think I'm crazy or a biblethumper, but pray on it.
About a year ago, my Aunt told me the same thing. After meeting a string of losers and lunatics, I took her advice. A few months ago, Mr. Right came my way, at work of all places. That was totally unexpected because I don't date coworkers.

i found mine on yahoo personals its great you can choose who you talk to and if you dont like them just block them lol you can useually tell What there like when they first talk to you some ask what your wearing lol and you know what there after ;) but some are lovely and you can go at your own pace chatting to them taking it faster or slower and its upto you if you want to meet up or not its completely your choice and if your shy like me its a lot easier than going up to some 1 out and about . im getting married 2 weeks today to the man i met :) good luck xx

don't want to bring you down , but you come with a full package . and it is hard these days to find a man who wants a ready made family. so if i were you i think i would join a parents without partners thing.
