I would have to say "Now!".
This is such a dynamic time in history! Barreling headlong for destruction and yet making so many advances into the frontiers of knowledge... How could any previous era be so interesting, frightening or exciting? The future will surely hold challenges, but to skip to some future 'when' would be like skipping to the later chapters of a book and I am too interested to put this one down just yet.

You know, I used to say I would love to live in the 1800's. I loved the clothes they worn and they way the spoke with elegance.

But, once you go to the Renaissance Fair, you might change your mind.

That time period was disgusting. They did not take regular showers and their food was not sterile.

It was not a good time to be alive. There wwer so many diseases: Black Plague, etc. YUCK!!

Although, this is in England in the 1800s, I am not sure if America was like England in the 1800s or not.

A few hundred years in the future provided mankind hasn't destroyed itself first. I'd like to be able to time travel at will to any era just to see what it was like then. At the speed technology has moved in just the last 100 years indicates astonishing advances in all the sciences over the next 500 years or so.
