There will be a very loud bang and a lot of dust. They are TESTING a weapon not launching against sombody.
Having the capability to explode a nuclear weapon is one thing, having the capability to launch it is something else.
Raises a question to Bush and Blair though.
This is, according to them a rogue state, who have now declared WMD's.Will they have the guts to do anything about it?

Ya, this administration is a joke! Wasting our time and energy on a country that is of no real imminent threat to us and ignoring N. Korea. AND NOW they say we will do something about it. With what? All of our troops are somewhere else, and we are running on empty in the area of moral support for military action.

I don't think America is in a place that it can do anything.... an unfortunetly, I think N. Korea knows this too.

It is a little scary, but we live in America. Our country was built on war and threats and threatening. I am no more scared now than I was 5 years ago.

Bush will start posturing and threatening them and will eventually wind up sending in the troops to conquer North Korea. Remember, we have a sizable contingent of troops stationed along the border between North and South Korea. North Korea will retaliate sending missles in to hit the West Coast, Japan, South Korea and God knows where else. Bush will push the red button to annihilate North Korea and a nuclear (pronounced nuke-you-lar) winter will set in basically destroying most life on the planet. That will be Bush's legacy. Thanks Dubya.

Its a nuclear weapon test. Nothing really to worry about, because North Korea wouldn't start a war on America anyway as it has a larger store of nukes than North Korea. You never hear anyone have a go at the US or Britain for their supply of nuclear weapons do you?

Trust me there is going to be allot of back door negotiation's,do you think the US or any other major player,in that type of circumstance wants it to be on the minds of ordinary people like us.
No! and the US has also to take thousands of South Koreans who are in direct line of fire, into consideration.
This is a very complicated issue, especially in the part of the world, were there is availability of nuclear weapon's.

There isn't anything we can do militarily to the North Koreans without starting a World War. That isn't going to happen. So just a lot of angry words passed back and forth .. and more restrictions on giving them food stuffs etc. Don't worry. It is just like dogs barking back and forth at one another. Good Luck! :)

This is scary and it is a big deal. The best thing would be a test accident where the entire leadership is destroyed, ditto with Iran

North Korea doesn't have the power to actually launch nuclear weapons. the only way the nukes could be used is for someone to physically move the nuke to that location. in other words they aren't rocket scientists

Because Bush has been fighting a 'war for oil and personal profit',
(at the expense of the US taxpayer) instead of looking where the real danger is. And, of course, he is sh*t scared of China.
What a paper tiger!

Well if we have to go to war with N.korea pray for all soldiers in S.korea. All the soldiers there are only a speed bumb for the rest of the military to get there. I hope we dont go to war with them. our military is stretched out far enough.
