Serial killers. Mass murders. Insane Cults. School shootings. Child predators.
Corrupt governments. Unstoppable plagues. Murder suicides. Sex crimes. Gang violence.
Thrill kills. Terrorist acts. Postal rampages. Suicide bombers.
The world is out of control.
There's no way to reverse what's happened to society.
People are not just numb to violence anymore, we crave it.
It's forced into our lives in every possible way.
People look for answers to what's gone wrong with society,
blaming music, movies, video games, anything and everything to try to
explain away the obvious: We're armed, pissed, and horny for evil.
We're all thrown into this life without a choice.
I never asked for this life, yet those that have control over
our lives force their beliefs down our throat via the TV,
radio, news papers, and now even the world wide web.
They will tell you everything you want to hear, except the truth.

Look at the world around you, what do you see...
We're bombarded daily with live feeds from around the world with images of
riots, executions, murders, rapes, and war.
Every facet of human existence is accelerating dramatically into complete chaos!
This path we're heading down, there's no return.
How many people did Joe Blow kill at the post office today?
What new plague was created by a government
run amok with their pants down around their knees?
Our criminal justice system is a joke!
You can murder your wife and her lover
and walk away a free man if you have enough money,
then take your story on the Springer show and hear the
chants for blood as the crowd begins to sense confrontation.
Along comes the internet, this amazing tool allows you to interact with more
people in one week then you could pass walking down a crowded city street for a year.
We've already been desensitized to the violence, add that with
the inability or need to sit in the same room with----

--with another human being
and you've got the beginning of the end.
The only future I see for mankind is total annihilation.
We had our chance and we've ****** up beyond repair.
Some of you may look around here and say that I'm part of the problem,
part of what's wrong with society today.
Some would say that this rant is doing nothing but fueling the fire.
This world was ****** long before I was here, so I say pour the gasoline.
There is no "fix" for this world, only a bitter end.
The "main stream" frowns at the way I chose to live,
yet they are creating an entire generation that is oblivious to the fact
that others have a right to pursue their dreams as they see fit.
They want you to think, talk, and act just as they do,
and if you don't they beat you down, both mentally, and physically
becoming the very thing they're fighting.
I say **** them, and **** the world!
No one but you should be in control over your life.
This is your only chance, don't waste it-------

Not all people are sheep. Most are, that's true, but there are the sheepdogs, and there are also the wolves. Wolves see an easy meal, and attack the sheep. Sheepdogs chase away the wolves and keep the sheep safe. The sheep, in the meantime, listen only to each other. They do not see the sheepdog patiently waiting and watching for danger. The sheepdog does not panic if life gets out of control, he acts. So does the wolf. The difference in the two is their respective goals.

Your poem describes the reaction of the sheep to to the presence of wolves. It does not prove that the sheepdog is not still on the job. There is nothing wrong with society that a little respect for the local protectors would not fix.

No, this isn't a poem, and much of it is not true, just irrational thinking and emotion.

Turn off the TV. Better yet, sell the TV.

Look up the definition of "poem."

You rely too much on sensational incidents to illustrate your point, which would be better illustrated by how masses of people are sheep, liars, escapists, depressed, and cheated out of opportunities that won't be taken without self-destruction.
