I'm guessing you're asking how they do it in the movie to make her look bigger than everyone else.

They film the scenes without her, but all the actors pretend she's actually there. They talk to her, interact with her, etc.

Then, the film her parts in front of what is called a "green screen" and shoot the scene closer up. (It's like taking a picture of someone who's 50 feet away versus taking a picture of someone who is 10 feet away. The person that's 50 feet away will appear smaller in the picture.) The closer camera makes her look bigger and the "green screen" format allows them to film only the character. The green screen makes it appear to the camera like there is no background whatsoever.

Then, they enlarge her image and overlay that footage onto the original shot. So, you have the original fottage taken at a regular distance and the Madame Maxine footage that was taken at a closer distance which is superimposed. The two films melded together makes it look like she's absolutely enormous, when in fact, she wasn't really even there with all the other actors when it was shot in real life!

I think it's just a film trick. A very good one, but sometimes she doesn't seem to be as tall as in other scenes.

Mostly they used camera angles. But I think there was also some computer generated stuff because boy was she tall!!!
