Would you smile at a red penguin if a green polar bear told you to even if it meant losing all your money?

No. That seems counter-intuitive. If, on the other hand, I would gain financial independence by smiling at the same red penguin, then I would do it, regardless of the green polar bear's advice. In reality, I make most of my decisions without consulting polar bears of any color.

I always smile at red penguins anyway. It's a way of getting to first base. Then I buy them a drink and tell them how cute their sexy little waddle can be. By the time the green polar bear shows up I've got no money left because I've spent it all trying to get the penguin drunk.

if that was a joke i don't get it. but i would effing hug and smlie at the penguin cuz penguins are my fav animal. I would bring my BFF with me. her fav animal is a polar bear. So.... in the end it all works out. ^_^
