my friend has a problem with popular people! when she's around me she hates them! but then she'll leave and try to fit in by being the center of anntention! She is great to hang out with alone, but i never know if she's telling the truth! she makes up lies to make her life more intresting! HELP! i WILL reward best answer!

Pull her up on it, ask her point blank if she realize this is what she is doing. she may lie so much, she may not even realize she has a problem. Tell her you think it is something that she needs to get a handle on. because it is getting out of control. And you may need to distends yourself from her. Their is an old saying, "Show me your friends, and I"ll tell who you are"

I had a friend like that. She was real cool until all the "popular" kids came around, then she hardly talked to me. We're not friends anymore. I have better things to do than hang around someone that isn't genuine!
If it's really bugging you, you should tell her you don't really like the way she acts around other people. If she's a real friend, she'll quit. If not, then find another friend.

I had a friend like this once and you know what i did to her i never showed her i knew she was lying i went along with her story's but trust me she will grow out of it and if she does not she will soon be lying to herself. She is your so if you feel that it is hurting you or affecting the relationship speak to her and tell her how you feel because that is what a friend is for to be there for the other person no matter what and the best person to speak to her is you.

As her friend you should let her know how foolish she is appearing to other people and let her know that her tales are too far fetched. Express to her that you understand why she does it, but are concerned that she may need to tone it down a bit as being her true self will make her more popular as a person rather than being a phony and a laughingstock to all the popular people.

Your friend seems to be a very insecure person, and maybe needs some counseling help. But short of that, you should tell how it makes you feel when she does that. She may not even be aware of it. But if she is truly your friend, she will care about your feelings and the confusion her manipulations cause for you.

just tell her that she's being a prep and hanging out with the popular people and she will stop. Well, she will deny it first, but when you catch her being with them, go up to her and whisper in her ear, "PREEEEEEEEEEP!!!" and she will go walk away and just keep doing that....
and with her lying, you can't help her, just go alog with it.... :(

honestly you need to bring her back to reality show her what she doesn't see because you kno she believes her own lies also try to sit her down and find out y do she lie because sometimes it's more deeper then wat you see on the outside thinkin its about the POPULAR CROWD and its really not. when u figure it out keep me posted about wat happens
