is this a good career for my future or should i give up on that, meaning there are so many people that want to do that i dont even have a chance. (like many people want to be lawyers or doctors for example and there is a low chance i will be succesful)

I've been a Hotel Manager for over a decade and I absolutely love it. Didn't go to school for it, started out working at small, seasonal resorts and fell in love with the work so much that I am now returning to school to get a degree in travel/tourism, and dream of owning my own. (I am not a "spring chick" so youth is not on my side)
When I go to my job, I don't think of it as working. When I have a bad day, I still have a good day.
There are sooo many hotels, motels, and positions that are extensions but still in hospitality (event planning, residential property management, operations, marketing etc) that I doubt you'd have a problem getting a job. It's the same as anything else. There may be many managers, but as many GOOD ones? I think not! I'm considered to be an excellent manager, but I think the difference is my love of the work.
So experienced or not, you'll never know until you try, so go for it!
Good luck!
