We moved to a rural area and there has been a few mice in here.. We were told it is part of living out here. Our apt. is very clean and new. WE ARE MORTIFIED AT THE THOUGHT OF THIS. Do you know anything about this?? Also they are usually in shock from the cat, they just sit there when we put them out, is that safe or should we put them in the woods?

I think we are animals and sometimes other species are drawn to us for thier own various reasons. There should be a symbiosis to a point. Let the cat do its job. The two things that creep me out are spiders and roaches. They can stay outside. It doesn't matter how clean you are, if you want to stay away from roaches/palmetto bugs, don't live near the beach. If you don't like your garbage to be attacked by raccoons, stay away from the wooded areas. Please set humane traps. Mice are mammals just like us.

No it isn't. but if it's part of the living out there ,then my only advice to you is that you get some pesticide workers to come spray or check it out; because it's unhealthy for you and your family. good luck.
