Most women develop cysts when they get pregnant to help the baby throughout the pregnancy! Most doctors say that a small cyst is normal during pregnancy and it will burst on its own!! If the cyst is a big size, your doctor may have to remove it or it may cause complications!! Sometimes, they will give you meds to help shrink or dissolve the cyst!! Your doctor will be able to tell you what's going on and what procedure and precautions to take!!

Since you stated that you have missed periods, it may be that you aren't ovulating because ovulation takes place 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your cycle!!

Hope everything turns out well!!

Be sure to let your doctor know what's going on and don't be afraid to ask him/her any questions about conceiving and ovulation!!

Yes you will still ovulate with a cyst. Usually ovarian cysts are not treated except with pain meds unless they are causing you more severe problems or are coupled with endometriosis.

Has a doctor diagnosed you with a cyst or is this just your opinion of the problem?

Your doctor will be able to put to rest any concerns you have when you see him.

You may be very stressed and this could explain the missed period or you could be pregnant.

It is best to have a blood test to check for pregnancy. Over the counter pregnancy tests are not always accurate.

I hope things turn out well for you...

This is a million dollar question. My daughter has them and she ovulates one time and not the next. If you have the cysts you are likely to have severe pain with ovulation. My daughter does until the cycsts ruptures. Make that appt girl and Good luck.

It is so much better to wait to talk to your doctor about this. Too much information from different people is sometimes too much!
