That would definitely be sexual harassment. I would tell him to stop and if it keeps up take him to HR. Keep the email for proof. He is in the wrong, definitely.

First of all, and please don't take offense. Did you in any way make this person think you were interested? If not, this is an HR issue that you should feel confidant about addressing. You should never have to accept any kind of sexual harrassment in the workplace...ever!!! Don't get me wrong I'm not a feminist or a very Politically Correct person. However, from what it sounds like you should say something to someone immediately so it doesn't happen in the future. This is your job and you shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable going to work everyday because some person is interested in you and, or, wants to intimidate you by sending you messages like that. Believe me it's a power thing and don't let him get away with it.

I would print it out and take it to the boss, make sure you file sexual harassment charges, because if you do anything less, he will continue to come back. OR print it out and visit his wife, handing her the email. There is a program, I think it is called an IP email tracer, that is available free on line. You can open uip the sides of the email to find all the ID tracing numbers, and that can, in court, prove he sent it. But do something.

Depends, if it really bothers you, I would take this matter to your boss even though it is a little embarassing. Unless you want to handle it yourself, and tell him to stop sending you those dirty emails. It's sexual harassment. If you can't deal with it, report him. Goodluck! You should definitely tell you husband about it too so he is aware of the problem.

Go to HR. Show them the email and ask them "Exactly what does he mean by this?" And could they please find out. But don't make a big deal out of it. You don't want a rap as a ball busting *****, even though you did no wrong. Methinks your co-worker will be transfered in short order.
Be sure and keep a copy for your own records.

That's called sexual harassment. You either have 2 choices: 1) Tell him to stop or else you will inform HR.
2) Inform HR

When it's directed to you like that, it's plain and simple "sexual harassment". That's gross saying that to a married woman. If you saved the e-mail, I'd report them to human resources or your boss. The e-mail will clinch it.

well, i am a man who works with 5 other men and no women so id probably beat the hell out of a ******.

in your instance you should print out 50 copies of the nasty filth and post it on the company bulletin board if your boss wont fire the man for sexual harassment. there is no place at work for a man to approach a woman with such filth.

Print two copies. Take one to him and tell him a copy goes to management if he ever pulls rthis lame BS again. That's if you like him. If not make a copy and take it to management. The goal here is to request he find other employment. If they are not willing, then you have an actionable offence from the company for allowing it.
