I just think it's unbelievable that he was never put into the hall of fame. Even when MLB called together a special group to elct a bunch of ***** Leaguers, he wasn't one. Regardless of whether or not his accomplishments on the field warrented Hall of Fame status, he was the epitomy of an ambassador for babeball and should be there. It's a shame that he didn't make it in before he died. I know he will make it now, though. Unfortunately, that's the way it goes. Sometimes you don't know what you've got till it's gone.

Buck was a true baseball player and a class man. He should get all the credit and praise that he deserves.

Don't EVEN mention Pete Rose in the same breath as Buck. Buck deserves th Hall of Fame, Pete deserves a special wing, the Hall of Shame for ruining his career and Baseballs image.

He should 100% be in the Hall of Fame. This season he was at a Cubs vs. Padres game. The Padres had a dedication to him and the ***** league and he threw out the opening pitch, that was pretty awsome.....

I thinks its disgusting that he (and Pete Rose) aren't in the HOF. He has done so much for baseball, mainly Black baseball players. The first black manager in MLB history and the first black scout.

He should be given (posthumously) admission to the Hall of Fame anyway.

Baseball had a chance to elect him earlier this year. Even in death, MLB is racist and pathetic.
