It keeps picking Nero to open pictures and I want to change it to another program.

If you are using windows as your operating sytem then--
1) go to "control panel"
2) open "folder options"
3) select the "file types" tab
then just change the program assigned with your particular file type extension.
MORE: the default windows program that opens "jpeg" or "gif" file types is image preview

Go to Control Panel/Folder Options/File Type and find JPG in the list - you'll see a button to CHANGE PROGRAM that opens - in the window - Click on the Arrow and select whatever you want to open *.jpg (picture)

right click on the photo icon.. select ...
open with
change program (at the bottom)
highlight the program you want this to open up in
Put a check in the box .. Always use the selected program to open this kind of file (at the bottom)
Click OK
This procedure will work for any kind of file.
