Honestly, some of mine don't deserve my time. I keep a distance from them, and plan to never speak to them again. Their lifestyle and past choices make me sick.

Are you in a situation as mine, and try to stay away from negative people, even if they are your relatives?
Or do you feel that you have to "love" them anyway and help them all the time?

I have 2 beautiful first cousins they lived in San Francisco. They would visit with us at state fair time. in the 70's they came to dads funeral dressed as witches. I have never seen them again and don't care. Love them why, how, what for, family no longer matters.

If it's one thing in this life we can't choose, it's some of our relatives!
So...when you find you have some of 'these' relatives...you know...the ones you cannot possibly maintain a quality relationship with...then feed them with a long-handled spoon and love them from a distance.
If they reach out to you for help, then help 'em (with a long-handled spoon and from a distance)...but, don't go looking for trouble!

No. I only love people that deserve to loved by me, and just because thay happen to be related does not automatically qualify them.
