Anything harder than 7 will scratch glass.

Below is the Mohs Hardness Scale:

1 Talc
2 Gypsum
3 Calcite
4 Fluorite
5 Apatite
6 Orthoclase
7 Quartz --- (includes glass)
8 Topaz
9 Corundum (ruby and sapphire)
10 Diamond

Most gem stones will scratch glass. The hardness of glass is five and most gem minerals have a hardness between six and ten. A better question would be: Which gem stones won't scratch glass?

Every other precious stone (sapphire, ruby) because all of them have a hardness of 8-9: just so you knowTalcum ihas a hardness of one1 and diamond is ten

lots of rocks can cut mar/cut glass

to note, diamonds dont cut glass.

saws with diamond tips can cut glass but diamonds would only scratch glass if you held one and tried scraping glass.
