A black diamond is excatly the same as a clear diamond, and remember there are blue diamonds too! I personly own a black diamond and they are very unique. Mine puts off a green tint when put up to light and my jewler said this is very rare. You won't find them in your everyday jewlery shop, only the best! If you buy from else where make sure you get certification with it!

Exactly the same as a clear diamond, only it's black.
For a long while they were deemed inferior, but as they have exactly the same qualities you will find in diamonds found in the high street the governing bodies dealing with them decided that they are indeed worthy of being used.
A lot of the high value jewellers (Chanel, Chopard, Roberto Coin, etc) regularly use black diamonds in the design of their jewellery and watches.
