To convert KPH to MPH, just multiply by the factor 0.621371. Or, for quick estimate, just multiply by 0.6. You will just be off by about 3%.

For example, 100 KPH (Kph) is 62.1371 MPH (mph). An estimate of 60 mph is pretty good.

Just is why it is nice to drive in Europe. So, if you want to impress somebody, you can say you're going 100 (without units), when in fact, you are only going at 60 mph.

Just for completeness, to convert MPH to KPH, divide by 0.621371 or 0.6
