It's been like my nerves are bad. My hands keep shaking like an old person. I have been dizzy at times, it is very hard for me to work without falling to sleep. Every thing I eat makes me sick. I am a hard worker but I feel like I am becoming lazy because I have been so tired and sleepy. I sleep in the day early wake up and go back to sleep at night and don't want to wake up in the morning like I hadn't gotten enough sleep. Any suggestions, I also keep craving tomatoes and juice seem to help with the dizziness sometimes also the tomatoes. Weird huh?

I feel that way a lot too. The most important thing that you have to do is EAT. Even if you are nautious beyond belief, you have to try. Eating is what keeps you and the baby healthy. I'm not sure if you are still early on, but if you are, your body is using a lot of your energy to produce high levels of hormones. I am usually able to eat semi-dry fruits like apples when I feel this way. All fruit is high in fructose so you will surely get a good amount of sugar from eating any type of fruit. If you are craving tomatoes and juice then by all means eat and drink it, but beware, orange juice is very high in citric acid and that can make your stomach ache. Try to avoid greasy foods too.

Eating healthy and enough will usually help you feel a little more energized. If you are still in your first trimester, sorry to say that being tired is just one of the symptoms. Try to understand that your body is in overdrive right now. Most of your energy is gone before lunch. Relax as much as you can and don't worry about being lazy, your energy will pick up after the first trimester is over.

Some times your blood pressure also goes a little low, try laying down on your left side and just lay there and take a break. It is very normal from what i have read. BUT make sure you let your doctor know if and when it happens. I am at 17 weeks and I get dizzy spells and my heart rate goes up, but after like 15-20 mins on my left side it slows down and I feel better. You just have to make sure to give your time to have breaks, and relax.

You might have some low blood pressure, or low blood sugar. Sometimes this happens during pregnancy. If the symptoms get worse go to the hospital emergency room, or just go now to help set your mind at ease. What ever you decide you need to take care of yourself and your baby.

hi, I am 29 weeks pregnant and I am hypoglycimic I get that way expecially if I am cleaning or something, After I eat I usually feel a lot better, eat anything.. you may also have low iron which would also make you feel that way. JUST EAT even if you dont feel hungry. also make sure you drink a lot and are not getting dehydrated, but i really think it is just eating.

have you ever been diagnostic as a diabetic? sometimes pregnancy triggers it. Try drinking orange juice or eat something sweet we you feel shaky. Make sure to mention your symptoms to your doctor Monday.

You have classic symptoms of hypoglycemia. If you dont eat, your blood sugar gets low which is causing all those symptoms. PLEASE EAT SOMETHING!!! eat substantial foods because if you only eat high-sugar foods your blood sugar will only crash again in an hour. Eat something little every 2 hours if you cant seem to eat a lot at one time. and call your doctor on monday too.

You could call NHS Direct for advice - 0845 4647 or go on their website to put your mind at rest. From what you have said maybe you have a vitamin deficiency. Good Luck:)
