Even Kevin Costner's version with all the dodgy accents was way better than this!

Not that good was it?

I heard that the master tapes got stolen, shame they found them !

- Lame Humour
- TOTALLY CRUD sword fighting & archery (I've done BOTH so I knw what I am talking about)
- Totally screwed up the origin of RH (How can he be Robin from Locksley & The Earl of Huntingdon at the same time??????)
- Disjoined story

The only reedming feature was Maid Marion.

If you want a good Robin Hood you need to look at 'ROBIN OF SHERWOOD' the 1980's TV show.

PS - Budgerigars were not introduced into europe until at least the 17 century, after the discovery of Austrailia

It was a mess! Wooden acting, no discernible storyline or structure ( what was the point of the ditch digging and the overly made-up blonde ?), not a quotable line of dialogue in the whole thing. Where was the money spent? It looked cheap and it's only hope is if the Merry Men cheer things up a bit. The guy playing Robin isn't up to the job, appearing to be a charisma-free zone. I'm sure Doctor Who is in no danger of being usurped in the nation's affections.

No. I thought it was great fun for a Saturday evening, and look forward to the rest of the series. It's not reasonable to expect rigid historical accuracy - that's not the point of a show like this.

I thought the directing was terrible and the acting even worse. The opening scene was embarrassing to watch and the actor who played Scarlet was hilariously crap. I doub't i'll watch any more of it.

It was total crap, the acting was bad, the sound was useless, and the storyline well, goodnight.
