Right now you just need a birth certificate. But after January you will just need a passport...

Everything you need to come to Mexico as a tourist is your passport and a pen to fill a couple of immigration forms for Mexican government.

If you try to WORK in Mexico, well, that's a different story.

If you are mexican, no u dont. What kind of passport do u have?
You can call the Mexican Tourism Board and ask them. As a US citizen you will be given a Tourist Card. You can also check: www.visitmexico.com for more info.

You are issued a visa by Mexico as you enter the country .... it's a tourist visa

no us citizens don't need a visa or a pass port you will be issued a travel permit you can get one at most any travel agencies or at the entry point into Mexico.

How long are you planning to go for? I know for certain that if your just going on holidy then no. I've been there.
