Wolf's Rain Rocks! its kinda hard to follow sometimes, but you'll do fine as long as you pay attention..
Here is a basic plot summary;
There is a legend that humans were created from wolves, though most humans are skeptical at best considering that wolves have supposedly been extinct for 200 years. However, some wolves remain and are living side by side with the humans. The wolves are able to conceal their identity by creating an illusion of the human form... although, there are some who can see through the illusion. The world is in a desolate state with hardly any nature remaining outside the various domed city limits. Through random run-ins a group of wolves emerge, they are united through physical and psychological obstacles, and are eventually dedicated to the same goal... to find paradise. However, finding paradise means the destruction of the world for all other creatures... and does it really exist anyways?

As for where to get it, I'd suggest ebay or amazon.

Wolf's Rain (yes, RAIN) is a great anime. I gotta warn you though, it's pretty dark (literally) and depressing. Don't expect a happy ending. It's also a little confusing at times. And brutal, violence wise. You can get it at any video store I'm sure. It might be on the expensive side, however. You can also get it online at amazon.com Even though it isn't light hearted and playful, I still recommend it highly. You can also find it for download (subbed) from a fan sub company called live-evil. Good luck! ^_^
